My name is Mary Hughes. I’m an Orthodox Christian, a wife, and a mother of three beautiful children. Before motherhood, I earned my degree in criminology and served as a victim’s advocate, walking beside women through domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, some of the darkest seasons a woman can live through. I’m a certified trauma-informed counselor, and for the last six years I’ve connected with women all over the world through my writing and my work.
I’m not selling you a course. I won’t hand you off to someone else or to a portal you’ll never open. When you work with me, we meet every week, and you can text me all week long. I’m deeply invested in the women I walk with: their hardest days, their most honest moments, and their breakthroughs.
This isn’t spiritual counsel, because that belongs to your priest. It’s hands-on, woman-to-woman mentorship, and it can change everything for a woman who’s ready to stop surviving and start healing.
Time with Mary, every week
A real woman on the other end, not a help desk. And access whenever you need it.
A customized plan for you to reach the goals you're working towards
A mentor who remembers what you shared last week
...and so much more... Book a call to discuss all the details.
Women come to me carrying all kinds of weight. These are the things we work through together.
Honoring and supporting your husband, rebuilding trust, intimacy and connection, and healing resentment and old hurts.
Letting go of the quiet habits that numb you, like wine, scrolling, food, and control, and growing the virtue that takes their place.
Finding meaning beyond the to-do list, building meaningful from home, and stepping into the purpose God has placed in your hands.
Living your faith in the ordinary hours of home, alongside the spiritual guidance of your priest.
Building the daily rhythm and order at home that gives you room to grow.
Mothering with confidence, homeschooling with joy, and leading your home with gentle strength.
Facing your past, healing mother and father wounds, quieting anxiety, and learning to treat yourself with the same tenderness you give everyone else.
Fully becoming the woman God made you to be: soft and strong, steady and whole.
Managing your household finances with wisdom and peace, getting out of debt, and growing a business from home that serves your family instead of consuming it.
Most women’s coaching is built to scale: a polished program, a few recorded videos, a group chat nobody answers, and a monthly fee. You pay for a name and quietly wonder why nothing is changing.
Therapy is the other road many women take, and it has its place. Some seasons truly need clinical care, and if yours does, I’ll tell you honestly and help you find it. But many women don’t need another room where they’re encouraged to feel more and challenged less. They need someone who will sit with them in the hard places, then gently call them higher.
And this is not spiritual counsel. The care of your soul belongs to your priest and the Church. I walk beside that, never in place of it.
What I offer is different from all of these. I’m not trying to scale myself out of the relationship. I work with a small number of women, I know them well, and I’m invested in their growth week after week. You won’t be a name on a list. You’ll be a woman I’m fighting for.
I bring a degree in criminology, years as a victim’s advocate walking women through the hardest seasons of their lives, and certification as a trauma-informed counselor. More than that, I’ve walked my own road from surviving to truly healing. I know what real change asks of a woman, and I know how to help you get there.
We strive to keep this as affordably and accessibly priced as possible, a mentor who actually shows up for you.
